Non Space Tasks
Non Space tasks are tasks that are performed either outside of a standard defined space or in multiple define spaces. For example, Discharge Cleans, Linen Distribution, etc. FacilitiesConnect allows you to setup the Non Space Tasks that you perform in your facility and add them to your daily EVS schedules. Below are the components of the Non Space Task Image title
- Description - The name of the non space task; i.e. Discharges
- Weekly Hours - Designed to allow the user to track how many hours or quantity the contract states should be allotted for this task vs. how many hours or quantity are being performed. Example: Find the number of discharges specified in the contract. Let's say it's 52000 per year. Now take that number and divide it by 52 weeks and put 1000 in the Weekly Hours field. That means your contract states that you should be doing 1000 discharges per week. Most tasks will be based on hours.
- Average Minutes - Average minutes should be left at 0.0 unless your task is based on Quantity,i.e. number of discharges. When you need to change the Average Minutes fields then put in the average minutes it takes to perform ONE of the tasks. Corporate standard for regular discharge clean is 27.9 minutes.
As you add one of these tasks to your schedule and specify the number of hours or quantity to be done on the schedule the system will subtract those hours from your weekly total and show you how many you have left. It will not prohibit you from going beyond that number. It is meant to allow you to track how you are doing vs. your contract numbers.
