Data Migration
Data Migration - Existing FacilityFit pro accounts will be able to migrate their data into the new system. Facility Managers will be asked to "prepare" their data for migration prior to moving over. This process is explained below.
Migration Details - In the new platform, certain data standards will be enforced, to ensure the business is consistently using the available programs. The preparation utility will help to "map" existing data into these new corporate standards. Depending on the size of your existing data up to 3 years of history will be migrated into FacilityFit. Your old data will be archived if needed for reporting audits.
Migrate Schedule and Process - Below describes the schedule and process for migrating your data into FacilityFit.
- Step 1 - Determine when your account is on the migration schedule - This schedule is being determined by Executive Leadership.
- Step 2 - Prepare for the new software. Receive training and documentation, conduct training for employees.
- Step 3 - Read preparation utility documentation. Link for preparation utility is below.
- Step 4 - Download and install preparation utility.
- Step 5 - Complete preparation utility. During this process you may need to have discussions with Healthcare IT and Operations to determine how certain data is mapped or to request new corporate data standards.
- Step 6 - Communicate that preparation is done.
- Step 7 - Healthcare IT will migrate data into the QA environment.
- Step 8 - Facility manager will review data in QA environment and sign off that is ready for production.
- Step 9 - Final migration into production environment.
- Step 10 - Go Live!
